Leah's Story

Health and Movement Coach

Hi, and welcome! Thanks for stopping by my page. A little about me for those who I have never met.

I have been involved in fitness and sports my entire life. My first love was soccer, starting at the age of 3 or 4. It it fun to think back on how many years I have been a part of organized sports.  I did not stop competing until after college!

Some fun things that I absolutely love are slow weekend mornings, having coffee with frothed milk on the patio in the warmer months...but really any time I can have a beautiful cup of coffee is a great. My parents have a 3 year old Golden Retriever Louie, who brings me immediate joy, I am a huge animal lover so anything fluffy and a little chunky is my favorite. If you have a dog I will want to meet them! The ocean, hiking, biking, boogie boarding...truly anything where I am outside, in the sun doing something active and can eat some homemade nourishing food is my happy place. Doing all of these things while traveling to different countries  is also so important to me.

As far as education goes, I studied at Connecticut College where I played soccer and ran track/cross-country. Hands down the best part of my time while competing was the friendships that I created with my teammates. It is no surprise to me that I have chosen a career where I am able to create a similar environment for my clients. When working with me you become part of a team, where our goal is to create the best version of you. You will change, your body will change and so will your mind. Our time together will reflect and honor those changes.

My job is to teach, not to hold your hand the entire time. I hope to empower you with the tools and awareness of body + mind to become your own health advocate.

I look forward to working together!
